Virtual Tape

You can easily switch between the calculator view and the tape view to have a full-screen display of the virtual tape. Simply tap on the tape icon to switch between views. The tape of the calculator can contain up to 1000 lines.

Corrections on the Tape

If you need to make corrections, you can modify values on the virtual tape. To do this, access the context menu of the tape line with a long press.

Percentage Calculation

The calculator includes a percent calculation feature that allows you to add or subtract percentages. The tape will display both the percentage and the resulting value.

Tax Calculation

The calculator provides tax buttons (TX+, TX-) for easy addition or subtraction of taxes, such as sales tax or VAT. This simplifies calculating tax amounts using the calculator. The tape will display both the tax rate and the resulting value.

Annotations on the Tape

You can add comments to specific lines on the virtual tape.

Fixed Point and Floating Point Calculation

The fixed point arithmetic offers a precision of 20 digits with 0-4 decimal places. On the other hand, the floating point arithmetic uses 64 bits (IEEE double precision). By default, the calculator utilizes fixed point arithmetic with 2 decimal places, which is suitable for most calculations involving amounts.

Rounding

The calculator supports three rounding modes: up, down, or 5/4.
